It wasn’t as if we needed another trip abroad this year. We had spent two months in Greece exactly one year earlier, and then a month in Nepal in April and May. Chris had to go back to work after a year-long sabbatical. We had paid for a wedding!
But! Amy’s brother Ryan and his wife Casey had finally scheduled a long-planned trip to Lefkada in western Greece. Chris and Casey are long-time collaborators on the Homer Multitext. This was the perfect opportunity for them to visit the homeland of Odysseus. And so to Lefkada we went.
It was a good choice!
